The photos below show a recent fencing project where we were asked to remove an old hedge and replace it with sturdy and secure low maintenance fencing.
The photos below show a recent turfing and mowing project. High quality turf has been laid to add the finishing touches to these lovely gardens.
The brief for one of our latest project shown below was to re-design the garden into a more usable space. The old slabs and lawn were removed and replaced by new turf. A sandstone patio was created outside the house to provide a seating area. The whole garden was then fenced for a degree of privacy and to define the boundary. The fence will be long lasting as it is set into concrete gravel boards and posts. The result is now a low maintenance garden with a lovely seating area and a clear defined boundary offering some privacy for three client.
Our latest set of Portfolio pictures show a driveway that has been extended by use of a gravelled area. The current tarmac driveway was still in good condition but the client required a larger width driveway. Part of the turfed area was removed and replaced with a deep gravel area that was edged with oak boards. The edging boards will ensure the edge of the new turf stays tidy and make mowing an easy task. The front of the house was further enhanced by a sandstone patio area. The small border on the right was also dug over and re-planted.
The following images track the amazing transformation of a public house yard into a beautiful garden for all clientele to enjoy. The new garden includes, pathways, various seating areas, lawned areas, planted borders, a feature patio, pergola's and sheltered area for smokers, all enhanced by strategically placed outdoor lighting. This project is a fine example of how even the dullest of spaces can be transformed into a stunning garden with a little imagination and of course the experienced team of landscapers at Malfords.
Malfords were approached by another public house to completely overhaul and re-design their gardens to make them a welcoming place for customers to relax in and to create a 'WOW' factor. A difficult slope was excavated and replaced with wooden steps leading to a landscaped border. Various seating areas were created both in sun and shade, fresh turf, low maintenacne planting with some striking features plus new pathways and a covered gazebo completed the look.
